GENERAL INFORMATION

Wide Band Current Amplifiers (WBCA) are variable gain transimpedance amplifiers (current-to-voltage converters) designed for applications that require the conversion of very small currents from sensors into voltages .

There are several different configurations of transimpedance amplifiers, each suited to a particular application. It is common for all types of transimpedance amplifiers  to convert the low-level current of a sensor to a voltage.

Due to our amplifiers providing a very  low level of non-linear distortion, and since output voltage linearly depends upon the input signal, correction of the output signal is not required to identify the input signal. This is very important for many measuring systems and instruments.

The gain, bandwidth, as well as current and voltage offsets, change with different types of sensors, thus requiring different configurations of transimpedance amplifiers.

Our WBCA is an original AMS design, that provides a very wide frequency band in which amplification (conversion) can be performed, which other devices currently on the market cannot offer.

Our WBCA will provide stable operation in a wide range of requirements along with the above conditions.

Also, we have an Integrated controller which compensates for any possible signal deviations.

WBCA-10
• Transimpedance Gain 104 to 107 V/A (switchable manually or from an external device)
• Bandwidth up to 1 MHz with the Gain = 107 V/A
• Adjustable output voltage offset
• Output Switchable ( On/Off ) 2-nd Order 20 kHz Low Pass Filter (LPF)
Note. LPF Passband Region can be changed according to customer requirements

 

This version of the WBCA is manufactured and delivered on request.

In addition, it is also possible to manufacture other configurations of the WBCA in accordance with customer requirements.
